One dead in Camden fire
A man was killed and a woman was injured Tuesday morning in a three-alarm blaze in a vacant house in South Camden.

The fire at 286 Cherry Street was reported about 10:30 a.m. and was still burning an hour later. Smoke from the blaze was visible along the Delaware River.
Camden Fire Chief Thomas Quinn said a large section of the house's roof collapsed during the fire.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, who was suffering from smoke inhalation was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.
Neighbors said the two-story house had been abandoned for at least 10 years.
