Man shot in head, killed in Kensington

A man was shot in the head and killed early today in Kensington, police said.

Police responding to a radio call found the victim, who has not yet been identified, on the 2900 block of Kip Street about 12:16 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:25 a.m.

Police broadcast an alert for dark sedan with a woman driver and gunman with a ponytail after the shooting.

Investigators have not disclosed if they have established motive.
