A man sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman at gunpoint, then shot a 21-year-old Philadelphia man in the head early Wednesday at a gathering in a Collingswood apartment, authorities said.
A man sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman at gunpoint, then shot a 21-year-old Philadelphia man in the head early Wednesday at a gathering in a Collingswood apartment, authorities said.
Shortly after the sexual assault, the suspect got into a dispute with a 21-year-old and shot him once in the head, around 1 a.m., according to Jason Laughlin, a spokesman with the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Both assaults took place in the apartment in the 1000 block of Collings Avenue, authorities said.
The shooting victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, then airlifted to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday, authorities said.
Authorities were working Wednesday to confirm the identity of the suspect.
