Kensington fire forces schools to relocate

Students and staff from Kensington Culinary Arts High School and H.A. Brown Academy Plus Elementary School again be temporarily relocated on Wednesday in the aftermath of massive fire at a nearby Kensington factory.

Students and staff from Kensington Culinary Arts High School and H.A. Brown Academy Plus Elementary School again be temporarily relocated on Wednesday in the aftermath of massive fire at a nearby Kensington factory.

As was the case Tuesday, district officials said students and staff from the culinary arts program should report Wednesday to the Kensington Urban Education High School at 2051 E. Cumberland St. Students and staff from H.A. Brown again should report to the William H. Hunter Elementary School at 2400 N. Front St.

The five-alarm fire broke out Monday night at the factory building at 1900 East Hagert St.
