Two armed men made off with $33,000 after they forced their way into a south Philadelphia strip club Saturday afternoon, held two employees at gunpoint and ordered them to open a safe.
Two armed men made off with $33,000 after they forced their way into a south Philadelphia strip club Saturday afternoon, held two employees at gunpoint and ordered them to open a safe.
Police said the robbery at Club Onyx at 2908 South Christopher Columbus Blvd. took place at 3:20 p.m.
The robbery began when one of the suspects, armed with a handgun, accosted a club employee as the employee was entering the building.
Once inside the building, the armed suspect and an accomplice forced the employee and a co-worker, who was already in the building, to open the safe.
The suspects tied up the employees before fleeing the scene.
