With the coldest days of the year upon us, maybe it's a fine time to plan for the hazy days of summer.

Taylor Swift, the country-pop princess from nearby Wyomissing, is returning to her old stomping grounds in a big, big way when snow-flurries are only a distant memory.

On Aug. 6, Swift will play Lincoln Financial Field, one of seven stadium shows the young superstar will play as part of her 87-date Speak Now tour.

Alas, tickets won't be issued in time for the holidays. (So much for a Swift-tix stocking stuffer.)

A spokesman for the Philadelphia Eagles, which operates the South Philly stadium, announced that the billets won't go on sale until Jan. 21, and will be available through PhiladelphiaEagles.com, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
