Heist nets $3,800 in Chester Co.

An armed robber fled a Chester County bank this morning with $3,813 in loot, state police said.

An armed robber fled a Chester County bank this morning with $3,813 in loot, state police said.

The FBI and state police are seeking the public's help to identify the man carrying a handgun who entered the 1N Bank at 100 Old Forge Lane in Kennett Square at approximately 11:57 a.m.

Police said he was wearing a dark jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt, and light-colored work gloves. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 610-268-2022 or the FBI at 215-418-4000.   Kathleen Brady Shea
