A rubbish fire forced the evacuation of Feltonville Arts & Sciences Middle School in North Philadelphia today.
No injuries were reported and students were temporarily relocated to two other schools.
The Fire Departmment said the trash fire was located in the basement.
It was reported at 9:58 a.m. and declared under control at 10:14 a.m., a department spokesman said,
The School District said in a statement officials "will be conducting an assessment of the school to determine when the school may reopen."
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
