A woman was killed Saturday in a three-car crash in Concord Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The accident happened at about 3 p.m. at the intersection of Kirk and Smithbridge Roads when a Chevrolet Malibu heading west attempted a left turn onto Kirk Road, blocking the path of a Hyundai Sonata traveling the other way.
Therese M. Davis, the driver of the Sonata, attempted to get her car out of the way but first struck the rear of the Malibu, then veered into oncoming traffic and hit an Acura SUV head-on, police said.
Paramedics attempted to revive Davis, 83, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Rosalie Dortone, the driver of the Malibu, was uninjured. Megan Woerth, the driver of the Acura, and her passenger Alison Woerth suffered minor injuries. All were wearing seatbelts.
