Police in Montgomery County are seeking the motorist who mowed down a female pedestrian in Towamencin Township on Wednesday, and then left the scene.
Police in Montgomery County are seeking the motorist who mowed down a female pedestrian in Towamencin Township on Wednesday, and then left the scene.
In a joint statement this afternoon, District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and Towamencin Township Police Chief Paul T. Dickinson said the woman was struck by a vehicle at 6:09 a.m.
The vehicle was traveling south on Forty Foot Road approaching Towamencin Avenue.
The victim, who is Korean, was listed in critical condition at Abington Hospital Trauma Center this afternoon. Her identity was not immediately available.
Investigators believe that the vehicle is either blue or green, and may have front headlight damage. Anyone with information can contact Towamencin Township Police Department at 215-368-7606 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3368.
