Police are investigating the slayings of two men in separate shooting overnight.

Police are investigating the slayings of two men in separate shooting overnight.

In the first killing, police said Justin Reeves, 18, was shot in the head about 9:10 p.m. on the 500 block of West York Street in North Philadelphia.

Reeves, of the 4200 block of Sydenham Street, Nicetown, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were looking for at least one man wearing red clothing.

At 1 a.m., police said Calvin Edmonds, 23, was shot in the face and chest on the 600 block of S. Yewdall Street, near Cedar Street, in West Philadelphia.

Edmonds, of the 7600 block of Forrest Avenue, Cedarbook, was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he died at 1:32 a.m.
