A man who was shot and killed by police after fatally stabbing a South Jersey man in Olney on Saturday was identified this morning as 22-year-old Eric Radcliff.

Radcliff lived on the 4800 block of North Lawrence Street, not far from were Charles Fricker, 52, was stabbed in the chest Saturday morning.

Fricker, an insurance agent from Waterford Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the stabbing, Radcliff fled on a bicycle to a home on the 5800 block of Mascher Street, where he ran into the basement, police said.

Police confronted him there and tried to stop him with a Taser. Officers fired when he lunged at them with the knife still in hand, police said.

The Daily News said Fricker, a father of two, also was a part-time radio traffic reporter under the name Chuck Williams and owned American Sound Disc Jockeys.
