Man shot dead in Queen Village

Police are investigating the shooting death of a 20 year-old man early this morning on a Queen Village street.

Officers found Karim Carter unresponsive at 2:08 a.m. on the 900 block of South 4th Street.

Carter, who lived nearby on the 400 block of Christian Street, had been shot in the stomach, police said.

He was pronounced dead at 2:44 a.m. at Jefferson University Hospital.

No arrests have been made and police have not disclosed if they have established a possible motive.
