Willingboro drowning victim ID’d

Authorities have identified 19-year-old Byron J. Bright as the man who drowned Wednesday in Olympia Lakes in Willingboro.

Bright, who lived on Ferry Avenue in Camden, was pulled from the water shortly after 7:30 p.m., Willingboro Police said. After receiving CPR, Bright was taken to Lourdes Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

He was one of four recent drowning victims in Philadelphia and South Jersey, including three teenagers who drowned Wednesday. The fourth victim was Martin Walton, 23, of Kensington, who died Saturday while crossing Neshaminy Creek in Bucks County with friends.
