Drug trafficker gets 12 years

A convicted drug trafficker, who shipped multiple packages of cocaine and methamphetamine from western states to Pennsylvania, was sentenced Thursday in federal court to 12 years in prison.

A convicted drug trafficker, who shipped multiple packages of cocaine and methamphetamine from western states to Pennsylvania, was sentenced Thursday in federal court to 12 years in prison.

Hlateef Darlington, 28, of Whitehall, was arrested in Jan. 2008 after DEA agents seized drugs mailed to Easton, Pa., said U.S. Attorney Zane David Memeger.

Darlington pleaded guilty in October to a laundry list of drug counts including conspiracy to distribute and possession of five kilograms or more of cocaine and 50 grams of methamphetamine.
