The head of Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square has been elected to the National Association of Episcopal Schools.
L. Hamilton Clark Jr. will join the national organization's governing board July 1, the association announced today. The association, which is based in New York City, supports those who serve in more than 1,200 schools affiliated with the Episcopal Church.
Since becoming Episcopal Academy's top administrator in 2002, Clark directed the move of its main campus from City Avenue to Newtown Square and oversaw a $100-million capital campaign. The school enrolls 1,224 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
