Body wrapped in plastic found in Chester

Chester authorities were trying to identify a black man whose body was found wrapped in plastic in a vacant lot early Friday afternoon, police said.

Police were dispatched at 1:18 p.m. to the 100 block of Central Avenue where the body was found in an overgrown wooded area of the lot. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The cause of death was not immediately available.
