Woman killed by big-rig in Bucks County

A 57-year-old Philadelphia woman was killed when she was run over by a big-rig truck Wednesday evening in Bucks County, the coroner said.

The accident occurred at 6:13 p.m. at 121 Wheeler Court in Middletown Township, said Bucks County Coroner Joseph Campbell. The driver had dropped off a trailer and was making a three-point turn when the the tractor struck the woman, who worked at the location. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the accident, which was caught on surveillance video, Campbell said.
