Man fatally shot in Chester

A 36-year-old man was shot to death Friday afternoon in Chester, police said.

Shortly before 4 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man down in the 1100 block of Upland Street and found the victim with numerous gunshot wounds to the head and chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
