Officers responding to reports of gunfire found the victims about 12:20 a.m. on the 17000 block of Wylie Street in the Francisville neighborhood, police said.
A 25-year-old man who had been shot multiples times in the back and side was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:53 a.m., police said.
A 21-year-old man was reported in stable condition at Temple University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the wrist, police said.
Police are investigating and there is no word yet on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
