Officer hurt by possible DUI driver
A police officer suffered minor injuries Monday night in Northeast Philadelphia when he was pinned between two cars during an accident involving a possibly intoxicated driver, police said.
A police officer suffered minor injuries Monday night in Northeast Philadelphia when he was pinned between two cars during an accident involving a possibly intoxicated driver, police said.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 1700 block of Cottman Avenue in the city's Castor section, police said. The officer was taken to Jeanes Hospital, where he was expected to be treated and released.
The allegedly intoxicated driver was arrested, police said.
