An accident involving a schoolbus was still jamming part of I-95 as of about 7:45 this morning.

Also, a downed tree closed Lincoln Drive in both directions between Gypsy Lane and Rittenhouse Street, according to traffic.com, which suggests Ridge Avenue as an alternate.

Other roads showing significant delays as of 8 a.m. included both directions of the Scchuylkill Expressway (I-76) between Center City and Roosevelt Boulevard, northbound Route 42 in South Jersey, and the southbound Blue Route (I-476), according to traffic.com.

No children were on board the schoolbus, but the driver was injured, according to one report.

The accident, just north of the Girard Avenue Exit, was blocking two lanes of northbound I-95, leaving two lanes creeping by, as seen on a PennDOT traffic camera.

Another jam-up, which backed traffic for miles on southbound I-95 was clearing up after another accident.

It happened near Highland Avenue, south of the Commodore Barry Bridge, and closed all southbound lanes for a while, according to traffic.com.
