Police identify suspect in weekend homicide

Homicide detectives have obtained an arrest warrant in the fatal shooting last Saturday of 18-year-old as he was waiting for a bus in the Logan section.

Wanted is William Chapman, 19, of the 4600 block of N. 20th Street in the Tioga section.

Police said Chapman shot Khalil Stanley about 10:40 p.m. Saturday as the victim waited for a bus at 11th Street and Wyoming Avenue.

Stanley, who lived in Logan, later died as Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Investigators have not disclosed a motive for the slaying.
