SEPTA operations chief stepping down

SEPTA's assistant general manager of operations, Luther Diggs, will leave the agency July 31.

Diggs, 61, is retiring, said spokeswoman Jerria Williams.

Diggs has been in charge of all vehicle operations, including trains, buses, subways, and trolleys, and he oversees the transit police.
