2001 — Pleads guilty to three speeding charges, operating a vehicle without inspection and disregarding a traffic signal.
April 2002 — Arrested in Utah for possessing pot and ordered to attend drug counseling
Summer 2002 — Begins selling cocaine in the North Philly hood, according to a 2007 presentence report. Judge Steven T. O'Neill quoted Garrett as saying: "'I could go anywhere in the 'hood. They all knew who I was. I enjoyed it. I liked being a drug dealer.'"
2004 — Arrested in Lower Merion on charges of retail theft.
2006 — Does a stint in drug treatment.
January 2007 — High on heroin, Garrett runs a red light and crashes his black SUV into a red Ford Taurus, seriously injuring the driver. Cops find drug paraphernalia on Reid, including needles, a spoon and a scale.
February 2007 — Coach Andy Reid announces a leave of absence with Eagles due to family matters and Garrett enters a Florida detox facility.
August 2007 — Garrett tests positive for "a very low level" of morphine, an opiate, violating his bail conditions in the crash case.
Fall 2007 — Fails to show up for several drug tests. He's sent back to jail twice for violating his probation.
Nov. 1, 2007 — Sentenced to two to 23 months and one year of probation for running a red light and hitting the car while on heroin.
May 7, 2008 — Pleads guilty to smuggling pills into the county prison.
July 22, 2008 — Sentenced to two years in a program that combines jail and intensive drug treatment.
May 13, 2009 — Sent to Graterford Prison after failing a drug test at a Hunting Park halfway house.
