D.A. press conference on Garrett Reid investigation today

The Northampton County District Attorney's Office plans to make an announcement this afternoon regarding the investigation surrounding Garrett Reid's heroin overdose.

District Attorney John Morganelli will hold a press conference at 1:30 p.m. Garrett Reid, the eldest son of Eagles coach Andy Reid, died in August during training camp.

Morganelli has said investigators were trying to learn the identity of Reid's supplier.

Reid's body was found in his dorm room at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, where he was assisting the team's strength and conditioning coach.
