A Pennsylvania ticket won $1 million in Saturday night's Powerball drawing.

A Pennsylvania ticket won $1 million in Saturday night's Powerball drawing.

California had even better luck, with a single ticket winning the $35 million jackpot in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing.

In Powerball, because no one matched all the numbers - 15, 23, 40, 44 and 55, with a Powerball of 14 - the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing will rise to $50 million for the annuity, $32.7 million for the cash.

The Pennsylvania ticket, which matched the first five numbers, was purchased at the Shop 'n Save in the Pittsburgh suburb of Heidelberg.

Maryland, New York and Tennessee also each had a $1 million winner.

The ticket that hit the Mega Millions jackpot was sold at Eddie's Liquor Jr. Market on Clark Avenue in Bellflower, a town south of Los Angeles. It matched all the numbers drawn: 11, 28, 33, 41 and 43, with a Mega Ball of 41.

Because of the win, the jackpot reboots to $12 million for Tuesday's drawing.

Two tickets matched the first five numbers. The one sold in Louisiana won $250,000. The Ohio ticket would be worth $1 million if the player also bought the Megaplier.
