A man was killed early this morning when his vehicle slammed into a tree in the city's Bustleton neighborhood.

A man was killed early this morning when his vehicle slammed into a tree in the city's Bustleton neighborhood.

Philadelphia police said the 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Roosevelt Boulevard near Tomlinson Road.

The man's identity was not immediately available.

No other cars were involved in the accident, which occurred about 5 a.m. Investigators from the Accident Investigation District were still seeking to find the cause of the crash.
