Man fatally shot in Tacony

A 46-year-old man was gunned down this morning in the city's Tacony section, police said.

The man, whose name has not been released yet, was found on the street near the corner of Devereaux and Tulip streets shortly before 10:30 a.m., police said. He had a gunshot wound in the left side of his chest.

The man was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later, police said.
