The Christmas travel forecast is looking good.

According to weather.com, minor systems could bring pockets of rain and snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in some parts of the county.

"However, impacts are expected to be low in most areas," the site reported.

The trickiest travel conditions will be in the upper Midwest and northern Great Lakes thanks to snow and ice.

Locally, there is a chance of snow showers mostly north and west of the region and while little accumulation is expected, the National Weather Service is warning any dusting could make driving hazardous.
