The stores open on Christmas Day usually expect a few shoppers grabbing last-minute fixings for holiday feasts.
But a CVS in Haverford Township got an unwanted Christmas guest: an armed robber.
A man walked into the store on West Chester Pike shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday and showed the barrel of a gun that was in his coat pocket.
Haverford Township Police said that the robber got away in a dark gray Toyota Corolla with a broken window on the rear passenger side, repaired with plastic and white tape. Police did not disclose what he took.
