COATESVILLE Police have charged Kristin Jones, a 24-year-old woman who left a trail of damage in her wake in a hit-and-run spree in Coatesville two weeks ago, with 21 counts of violations, including driving under the influence.

Jones' blood work showed she had alcohol, cocaine, marijuana and prescription depressants in her system while she was driving a Ford Explorer that belonged to an acquaintance, police said. The charges against Jones include theft of the SUV, careless driving, reckless driving, leaving the scene of accidents and related charges.

Shortly before midnight on April 8, Jones damaged six parked cars, the back of a house, two fences and a PECO utility pole and ran over a woman's foot in a series of accidents in the Ford Explorer. No one was seriously hurt.

The Explorer and one other car had to be towed from the scene.
