Motorcyclist dies in Montco crash
A motorcyclist died Saturday after an accident involving a car in Montgomery County's Douglass Township, authorities said. Robert W. Gatchel, 37, of Pottstown, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were still investigating the details of the accident, which occurred Saturday at about 2:45 p.m., police said, at Route 100 and Rick Road. Both the motorcyle and the 2000 Honda sedan it struck were on fire when officers arrived.
Police are investigating the incident with the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, which is routine procedure when a death is involved, said First Assistant District Attorney Kevin R. Steele.
