ARDMORE An Ardmore teen who police say was intoxicated was arrested Wednesday morning after he entered a house a half-mile away from where he lives, authorities said.
The charges against Ryan Bangs, 19, include burglary, theft from a motor vehicle, and underage drinking, said Lower Merion Township Police.
The homeowners told police they were awakened at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday by noises in their Simpson Road house. After confronting the teen, whom they did not recognize, they called police. Bangs was arrested at the house.
Besides taking cash, a cell phone, liquor and other items from the home, police said, Bangs also is accused of stealing from a vehicle parked in the driveway, and from another vehicle on the same street.
