City kiosk parking free on Sunday

The Philadelphia Parking Authority will relax enforcement of payments at parking kiosks on Sunday, officials said, because a technical glitch made the kiosks unable to accept credit card payments.

PPA Director Vince Fenerty said Saturday that the agency would still enforce safety violations and single-space meters on Sunday, as officials worked to address the credit card issue.

"Citizens who utilize kiosks should be prepared to pay cash on Monday if the problem persists," Fenerty said.
