Chester County police are looking for two people in connection with the home invasion and robbery Saturday night in West Whiteland Township, police said.
A man who claimed to be from a home health care agency forced his way into the home of a 76-year-old woman in the Exton Crossing development about 6:21 p.m. The woman answered her door to the man, who took her jewelry and tied her up before leaving.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence in the nearby Chester County borough of Spring City, and recovered the stolen jewelry, police said.
Police are seeking Leonard Bernard, 36, of Philadelphia, and Brianna Mitchell, 41 of Spring City. They are being charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy and related charges, police said.
Anyone with information on the robbery or knows where either of the two suspects are, is asked to contact the West Whiteland Township Police Department at 610-363-0200 or 610-692-5100.
