Woman killed in motorcycle crash in Burlington County

The driver of a motorcycle was killed when it crashed in Burlington County around 3 p.m. Saturday, according to state police.

The accident happened near the intersection of Ridge Road and Pemberton-Vincentown Road in Southampton. Police said several people in a group of motorcycles were traveling together when two of them collided, causing the woman to lose control. She was ejected from the vehicle, investigators said.

The name of the woman who was driving had not been released by Saturday evening because her family had not yet been notified, Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams said. Police were still investigating, but said they had found no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved.
