State trooper hurt in S. Jersey crash

A New Jersey State Trooper was injured Thursday in a crash in Salem City, police said.

There is no word yet on the trooper's condition.

An emergency services radio broadcast indicated the crash occurred on Quinton Alloway Road and that the car hit a utility pole.

The trooper was taken to Salem Hospital, according to the broadcast monitored by the Breaking News Network.

State police said they would release more information later.
