FBI releases photos from Bustleton Ave. bank robbery

FBI agents are searching for a bank robber who made off with cash from First Niagara Bank in Northeast Philadelphia on Thursday morning.

The robber, described as a black male about 30 years old, entered the bank in the 9800 block of Bustleton Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. and told a teller he had a gun. The FBI would not say how much cash he fled with. Agents released two images of the robber from surveillance video.

He was 5'9" with a medium build, wearing a red Phillies baseball cap, beige waist length jacket, light colored blue jeans and carried a red shoulder bag.

Anyone with information is asked to called the Philadelphia police department or the FBI at 215-418-4000.
