Homeless man nabbed in prostitution sting

A 35-year-old homeless man was one of three "johns" arrested Thursday night in a prostitution sting, police said.

Police targeted two separate blocks in Southwest Philadelphia. The Citywide Vice Unit made sweeps on the 6700 block of Woodland Avenue and the 2200 block of South 68th Street, police said.

Nuahn Jackson, the homeless man, allegedly solicited undercover police officers and was charged with misdemeanor counts of patronizing prostitution and solicitation. Charged on similar counts were Ayodeji Adelakun, 39, of Yeadon, and Alusine Baimba, 26 of Newtown Square, police said.

Officers confiscated $1,187 in cash, a 2007 Toyota Camry, and a 2001 Nissan Sentra in the sweep.
