2 shot dead in Bristol Twp., Bucks County, after altercation
Two men were killed by gunfire on a residential street in Bristol on Friday evening, officials in Bucks County said.

Two people are dead after an altercation in Bristol Township, Bucks County, turned violent Friday night, officials said Saturday.
Joseph Williams, 18, of Levittown, was arrested on charges that included attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and carrying a firearm without a license, said Larry R. King, spokesman for the Bucks County district attorney.
The names of the dead had not been released as of Saturday night.
According to police, a gray Chrysler 300 with five occupants pulled up to the 900 block of Elmhurst Avenue, and three of the people approached Williams and a group who were in front of a residence.
Police said that one of them motioned to Williams and that they began to quarrel. According to witnesses, Williams pulled a handgun from his waistband and shot the man multiple times as he ran away.
Investigators found two bullet holes at the residence, where five people were at home at the time, including a 3-year-old. It was unclear Saturday night how the second victim was killed.
Surveillance recordings in the area showed Williams and two other men running from the scene to the 700 block of Windsor Drive, about two blocks away. When officers went to that location, they found a revolver with spent casings in the cylinder, King said.
Williams was arraigned Saturday morning and bail was set at $750,000. He was being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 16.
