A $10,000 reward was being offered in the police search for the driver of a hit-and-run vehicle that fatally struck a 69-year-old man Tuesday night in Radnor.
The 2016 or newer white GMC Yukon had heavy front-end, driver-side damage after hitting Fred Gitterman as he was crossing the 500 block of East Lancaster Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, Radnor police said. The unidentified driver slowed down after hitting Gitterman, then sped away westbound. The vehicle was last seen turning southwest onto Paoli Pike toward West Chester.
Gitterman was a prior resident of Radnor and more recently may have been living in Media, police said.
