Two men were critically injured in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night in the city's Tioga section, police said.

About 7:40 p.m. in the 3600 block of Sydenham Street, two 22-year-old men were sitting inside a parked minivan when another vehicle drove up alongside them and at least 11 shots were fired from the driver's side of the second vehicle into the passenger's side of the minivan, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

One victim was shot several times in both legs and the other was shot in the back and torso. Both were taken by police to Temple University Hospital.

The shooter's vehicle was last seen heading north on Sydenham.
