Man and boy, 14, injured in separate city stabbings

The teen was stabbed in the leg. The man was stabbed in the face. No arrests were reported in either case.

A 14-year-old boy and a 48-year-old man were wounded in separate stabbings in the city Monday night, police said.

Shortly before 7:20 p.m., the teen was stabbed once in the right leg by an unknown assailant in the area of Louden Street and Whitaker Avenue in the city's Feltonville section, police said. He was taken by private vehicle to Aria Health-Frankford Campus and was reported in stable condition.

Just before 7:50 p.m., the 48-year-old man was stabbed in the left cheek while on the unit block of East Logan Street,  East Germantown, police said. He was taken by medics to Einstein Medical Center and was listed in stable condition.

No arrests were reported in either case.
