Boy, 15, shot in leg in Point Breeze

Shooting happened about 6:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 19th Street.

A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in the leg Wednesday evening in South Philadelphia's Point Breeze section, police said.

About 6:40 p.m., the teen was outside in the 1700 block of South 19th Street when he was shot in the left leg. Responding officers took him to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Police report no motive or arrests, and no other details were available.
