Boy, 17, critically hurt in West Philly shooting
A 17-year-old boy was in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night in West Philadelphia. Shortly after 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of North 52nd Street, the victim was shot several times in the body.

A 17-year-old boy was in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night in West Philadelphia, police said.
Shortly after 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of North 52nd Street, the victim was shot several times in the body. He was taken by responding officers to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
No arrests were reported and the motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
