Shortly after 9 p.m. in the area of 52nd and Arch Streets, the man, described as being in his early 30s, was shot three times in his chest and twice in his right thigh. Police took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:13 p.m. No other details were available, and no arrests were reported.
