Man killed in Kensington street shooting

A 27-year-old man was shot three times in the chest and died Wednesday night in the city's Kensington section, police said.

The shooting happened just before 7 p.m. outside in the 2900 block of Ruth Street. The victim was taken by police to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:01 p.m.

No arrests were reported.
