A 24-year-old man was shot in his right wrist near City Hall on Wednesday night, police said.

At least four shots were fired in front of the Wendy's restaurant in the 1500 block of Chestnut Street shortly before 8:40 p.m., police said.

The victim reportedly walked to a police officer at the Apple store at 1607 Walnut St. to report that he had been wounded. Police took him to Hahnemann University Hospital for treatment.
