SEPTA bus passenger hurt in screwdriver attack
The attack occurred during the morning rush hour in Germantown. The assailant is being sought.
An altercation between two male passengers on a SEPTA bus turned violent Wednesday morning when one attacked the other with a screwdriver, officials say.
The violence erupted about 8 a.m. on Route 23 bus at Germanton Avenue and Logan Street in Germantown.
The assailant fled and the wounded passenger was taken to Einstein Medical Center. Officials said his injuries do not appear life threatening.
The nature of the dispute is not yet known.
SEPTA police released this surveillance photo of the suspect in the hopes of finding him.
